You can store all of your WordPress website photos and videos in the cloud and viewers of your site can view them without ever having to leave your website. They won’t even know the photos and videos are stored in the cloud unless they look at the links.
Why would you want to do this? Your website hosting provider sets limits on the amount of hard drive space they allocate to you. Using free cloud space will come in handy when your hosting provider’s space starts to run out. Generally though you won’t run out of space unless you have a lot of media files.
A wpbeginner.com article is here. It explains how to connect Google Drive to your WordPress Media Library.
You can also back up your WordPress website to Google Drive. You can use UpdraftPlus to do this, as I do.
