MailChimp has three pricing plans: Forever Free, Monthly Plan and Pay-As-You-Go. Here is some basic information from the MailChimp website.
MailChimp’s Forever Free Plan gives you access to most MailChimp features, but limits your total subscribers, as well as your daily and weekly sends. Keep up to 2,000 subscribers across all lists in your account, and send up to 12,000 emails per month. In any 24-hour period, you can send up to 2,000 emails.
When you exceed the 2,000 subscriber limit in your Forever Free Plan, a hold will be placed on sending live campaigns or test emails until you upgrade to a paid plan, or reduce your subscriber count. You’ll still be able to work on your campaigns and collect and import new subscribers.
The Forever Free Plan comes with built-in, customizable signup forms, so you can start collecting subscribers right away. You’ll also have access to great-looking email templates and our Drag and Drop Editor to help you design custom campaigns.
The Forever Free plan works with the MailChimp mobile app. With just a few taps, you can manage your lists, add new subscribers, send campaigns, and view your reports. Create a campaign on your desktop or tablet, and send it from your iPhone or Android once your team signs off. The app is free. There is a companion app called MailChimp Snap that allows you to create new campaigns (emails) right from your phone. These emails can contain pictures.
MailChimp Subscribe is available for free with the Forever Free plan. Collect email addresses in person at a storefront or conference with MailChimp Subscribe. Store them locally on your iPad or Android tablet, even when you’re not online.
When you connect to the internet, MailChimp Subscribe will automatically push new subscribers to your list—even to specific groups. You can also review all additions before syncing, and export the list right from the app.
Multiple accounts or forms? No problem. Manage different teams or A/B test different styles, all on the same tablet. You can even protect your forms with a passcode. Best of all? The entire process just takes a few taps.
Why should I upgrade to a paid account?
As a paying customer, you can send more than 12,000 emails a month, access additional features, and remove MailChimp’s badge from your campaign footers.
